World famous young virtuosos Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser, known as 2CELLOS will, due to the unprecedented audience interest, give additional concert at the 62nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival on August 10 at 11:00 pm in front of the St.Blaise's Church.
2CELLOS' passionate interpretation of Michael Jackson's hit Smooth Criminal was seen at the YouTube by more than 5 million people around the world in less than 3 months, which brought them global popularity, world tour with Elton John and performances with George Michael. Their unique interpretations of Welcome to the Jungle and other pop hits which followed, ensured them a position of true stars at the world music sky. Beside the Elton John's audience, 2CELLOS recently thrilled the audience at the Sarajevo Film Festival and at the iTunes Festival in London. Last week as well, their album was number one sold at the list of foreign bestsellers in Croatia, was also recognized by the audience in Japan where their album sells even better than Lady Gaga's. 

The day before, on August 9 at the Rector's Palace Šulić and Hauser will perform with the Zagreb Soloists and more classic repertoire, namely compositions by G. Sollimo, E. Bloch, A. Vivaldi and P. Sarasta, but the audience will on that concert be as well awarded with the performance of above mentioned interpretation of pop hits. 
Tickets for the additional concert on August 10 can be bought from August 3 at the sales offices of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival or on-line. Tickets range from 150 to 400 kunas.
