This year the Dubrovnik Summer Festival opens its door for all creative youngsters. If your passion is writing and you are interested in the world of music, dance and theatre, follow the events at the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival and share your (constructive) reviews with us. Write your articles as creative as possible and send them via e-mail:  press1@dubrovnik-festival.hr. The best ones will be published in the Press section on our web site www.dubrovnik-festival.hr.

The press conference due to the performance of the Albanian soprano Inva Mula and the pianist Kira Parfeevets at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival was held on August 11^th at 11:00 a.m. in the wine bar of Pucić Palace. The concert is sponsored by Perpetuum Mobile d.o.o, the longtime partner of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

The press conference due to the announcement of the performance of Kremarata Baltica and the second drama premiere this year Dum Marinu u Pohode was held on July 26^th in the Festival Palace. The conference attended Ivica Prlender, the general director of the Festival, Neven Frangeš, Ivica Kunčević, directors of music and drama program of the Festival, Gidon Kremer, the violinist and the artistic leader of Kremerata Baltica and the director Joško Juvančić with all authors and students of his workshop.    

The second drama premiere at the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival is Dum Marinu u pohode, the workshop of Juško Juvančić in which participate the students of the second and the third year of the Academy of Dramatic Arts. The premiere is going to be held on July 29^th in Collegium Ragusinum under the sponsorship of one of the strongest banks in Croatia, Privredna Banka Zagreb.

At the terrace of the Pucić Palace Hotel, on July 9^th, at 10 a.m. due to the opening of the 58^th Dubrovnik summer Festival the press conference will be held. The conference will be led by the General Manager of the Festival Ph.D. Ivica Prlender, the Manager of the Corporate Communications at Vipnet, Ms. Dubravka Jusić as well as Ivica Kunčević and Neven Frangeš, directors of Drama and Music Program.

The Festival Council Conference will be held on Tuesday, July 10^th, 2007 at 10 a.m, ,in the ambience of the Festival Palace. The Minister of Culture Božo Biskupić will preside at the Festival Council Conference, which is traditionally being held just before the Opening Ceremony. The program of the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be presented. The General Manager, Ph.D. Ivica Prlender, Ivica Kunčević, the director of drama program and Neven Frangeš, the director of music program together with other members of the Council will attend the conference as well.

The Dubrovnik Summer Festival has been awarded its first Gold International Trophy for Quality by the Editorial Office in collaboration with the Trade Leaders Club, which celebrates its 35th anniversary.
