The final solo performance at the Dubrovnik summer Festival this year is the performance of the Russian vibraphonist Andrei Pushkarev, on August 24^th in Revelin fort at midnight.

At this year’s Dubrovnik Summer Festival participated more than 2,000 artists from 30 countries from all over the world; as was noted at today’s press conference due to the closing of the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival. The attendees, among which was also the mayoress of Dubrovnik, Dubravka Šuica, reviewed the events at the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival and some of the accomplishment indicators of the manifestation itself.         

The Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by George Pehlivanian willl perform the works of Bravničar, Bersa, Smetana and Dvořák on August 25^th on Ruđer Bošković Square at 9:30 p.m.

Trio Wanderer performs at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival the works of Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Liszt i Saint-Saëns on August 23^rd in the Rector’s Palace Atrium. The French trio performed also at the 56^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

The Orlando Awards given by the Croatian National Television for the best achievements in drama and music programs of the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be presented to this year’s winners on August 25^th.

The Orlando Award by Croatian National Television for the best achievements in drama and music program of the 58^th Dubrovnik Summer Festival was given to the actor Nikša Butijer and the conductor Ivan Repušić.

The Russian pianist Alexander Ghindin performed at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival for the first time in 2006. This year, he performs the works of Schumann, Stravinski and Listz on August 21st in the Rector’s Palace Atrium. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m.
