A merge of youth and experience in the Rector's Palace
The famous violinist Pinchas Zukerman, together with his Zukerman Chamber Players ensemble, performed as part of the rich music program of this years' Dubrovnik Summer Festival last night in the Rector's Palace Atrium, starting at 9:30 PM.

A miracle kid of sorts, known for his talents throughout the world, Pinchas Zukerman continues to impress generations of young musicians. For almost four decades he represents a phenomenon in the world of music, during which neither audience nor critics have stopped to wonder his musical genius, the way his wondrous technique captivates people and how his unrelenting artistic standards shape the music world still. Dedicated to the upcoming generations he is an inspiration to them, thanks to his ability to magnetically attract people and impress upon them his passion towards music.
Constantly striving to motivate the young, in 2002., he founded the Zukerman Chambe Players ensemble where he is joined by four protectees - Jessica Linnebach on violin, Jethro Marks on the viola, Amanda Forsyth on the cello and Angela Cheng on the piano. On the concert made for the Festival audience Sadao Harada on the cellowill was guest starring with the ensemble.
On the concert being held in the Rector's Palace the audience the chance to enjoy works of Mozart, Shubert and Dvořák.
Pinchas Zukerman also held a free workshop meant for students of musical academies on Friday, the 5th of August. All participants received free entrance on Festival performances. The workshop has been created in cooperation with the Art School Luka Sorkočević Dubrovnik and clearly shown the role of the Festival in tutoring and educating young musicians.
