Martina Filjak_Rene Medvesek.JPGAfter being awarded at the international competition Audimozart 2006, the clarinetist Marija Pavlović also won a prestige international competition - IBLA Grand Prize 2006. Marija started her musical education in her hometown Dubrovnik. She later got a degree at Mozarteum ’Cum Laude’, and also an ‘Würdigenpreiz’ recognition from Austrian Ministry of Science and Culture in Vienna.
 
On this year’s Festival, Kajana Pačko, performing at the Festival for the first time, will join Marija Pavlović. Young cellist from Split comes from School of Berlin. She first started to play cello when she was eight. The musical trio will  be fulfilled by famous pianist Martina Filjak, already included in some of the most talented Croatian musicians of the new generation. Her charismatic personality and magnetic scene presence regularly thrill musical critics and worldwide audience with refined performance and large repertoire. Having concerts all around Croatian and abroad, she performed in some of the most popular world halls and played accompanied by our most prominent orchestras. Filjak recently won this year’s international pianist competition in Cleveland what brought her 50 000 dollars and a performance in Carnegie Hall, New York.
Famous trio will appear in the Atrium of the Rector's Palace, where the festival audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the compositions by Schubert, Poulenc and Brahms.
