Seminar Malraux on Festivals
Seminar Malraux organized by the Ministry of Culture in Croatia, Ministry of Culture and Communications in France nad French Embassy will be held on 7 Octobre 2009 in Info EU Center in Zagreb. One of the topics - the marketing and organization of the Festival - will be presented on the case study of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival by its general manager Ivica Prlender.
Mr. Remi Julien, the artistic director of the Festival Passage de Nancy in France will give the presentation on the same topic giving the insight of the similar festival in France. Minister of culture Božo Biškupić is satisfied that this seminar has been organized for the third year in a row as Croatia is giving a significant amount of money to the Festivals. He feels this is a good opportunity to develop some futur cooperations between the European cultural events. Other topics that will be discussed are partnership and impact of festivals to local community.
