Special Prize to Miše Martinović
The 18th Croatian Theatrical Prize Ceremony for the last season's achievements in the field of theatre, radio and television art took place at the Croatian National Theatre on Friday, 24 November 2009. The Special Croatian Theatrical Prize for outstanding contribution in the field of theatre art has been awarded to Miše Martinović for his role of Master Niko in Ivo Vojnović's play
On the Terrace, directed by Joško Juvančić and performed by the Dubrovnik Summer Festival Drama Ensemble.

- "I know indeed why you called me. It's because no one else from Dubrovnik was supposed to receive any award. Neither an ensemble, nor a repertoire! These are serious matters, and that is why I am here" – said Miše Martinović at the last night's award ceremony.
This year, Miše Martinović celebrated the 60th anniversary of his work on the festival stages, and received the Orlando Grand Prix for special artistic contribution in the realisation of the entire Dubrovnik Summer Festival programme. This is, at the same time, the 20th Croatian Theatre Artists Society prize awarded to the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
