Announcing the 61st Dubrovnik Summer Festival
Within the celebration of the City of Dubrovnik Day and the Festival of St Blaise, the Dubrovnik Festival Director Ivica Prlender, the Theatre Programme Director Dora Ruždjak Podolski and the Music Programme Director Ivan Repušić will present the Preliminary Programme of the 61st Dubrovnik Summer Festival at the Festival Palace on 1 February 2010, at 12.00 noon. The Preliminary Programme presentation will be preceded by the promotion of the DVD Monograph entitled the
60 Years of the Festival, along with the audio and video fragments of the first DVDs produced by the Dubrovnik Festival taking place at Fort Revelin on 31 January 2010, at 8.00 pm.

Encouraged by the success of Handel's opera
Acis and Galatea performed by the Festival Opera Ensemble and the last year's award-winning Festival premiere of Vojnović's one-act play
On the Terrace, the Dubrovnik Festival released two high quality DVDs with its afore mentioned productions. On that occasion, a double CD will also be presented with the compositions by the finest Croatian 20th century composer Boris Papandopulo performed by the national and international musicians who appeared at the Festival.
This presentation of Festival souvenirs will be enhanced by the participation of the Festival's Theatre and Opera Ensemble members. Admission free.
