Additional performance of “The Miser” due to the great audience interest
Držić’s “The Miser” by Croatian National Theatre of Split will be performed two times at the same Festival’s evening due to the great audience interest.
The decision about performing an additional play of “The Miser” at the 59th Dubrovnik Summer Festival was made by the organization of the Festival and the Croatian National Theatre of Split, motivated by the huge interest of the Festival’s audience.
The director of the play is Joško Juvančić and the leading role is played by Pero Kvrgić who is this year celebrating the 50 years of his work.
The premiere of “The Miser” has been performed in Split on March 28th where the audience was thrilled. The Dubrovnik’s audience will have a chance to see it on August 14th at the Bošković Square.
