The International Summer Ballet School is a joint project of the Luka Sorkočević Art School’s ballet department and the artistic organization B.F.K.

Teachers

NINA SEMIZOROVA (Russia)

- Ballet master, pedagogue of the Bolshoi Theatre and lecturer at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts

Former prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre and receiver of numerous awards and acknowledgements, including 1st prize at the International competition of ballet dancers in Moscow in 1977. Her repertoire includes more than 30 classical ballet roles. Semizorova is a frequent jury member in ballet competitions.

ALEKSANDR LUKJANOV (Ukraine)

- B.F.K. Aristic Director , Ballet master and pedagogue

Former principal dancer at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and the Northern Ballet of Manchester (England), where he had the privilege of dancing alongside Rudolf Nureyev. As member of the International Ballet Stars Berlin, he has performed all over Europe and the world. 

IVICA BAGO (Croatia)

- dancer, choreographer and teacher

As a young and charismatic artist, Ivica Bago started his career at the Croatian National Theatre of Zagreb. Ha danced in contemporary companies such as Inbal Pinto Dance Company, the Vertigo Dance Company and the Kibbuttz Contemporary Dance Company Israeli choreographers. In recent years he has worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher, and has been artistic director of his own ballet troupe.
