Leading Slovenian pianist in the domain of contemporary classical music Bojan Gorišek is set to perform the works of Eric Satie and Philip Glass as part of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s Vip programme on Saturday, 26th July at 9 p.m. in the Rector’s Palace Atrium.
The final performance of “Obscuration”, the newest project of the Lero Student Theatre directed by Davor Mojaš, who created it according to the notes of Ruđer and Anica Bošković, will take place tonight, 24th July with a start at 9.30 p.m. in the Lazaretto.
A series of traditional projections of the Pula Film Festival’s best films presented at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival will begin tonight, 24th July with a British drama “The Invisible Woman” at 9.30 p.m. in the Jadran Open-air Cinema.
The traditional performances of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble, as part of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s programme, will continue to take place this year, once again, with the first out five total performances being held tonight at 9.30 p.m. on the Fort Revelin Tarace.
“Romeo and Juliet”, the first theater premiere at this year’s 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, directed by Jagoš Marković and performed by the Festival Drama Ensemble, is set to take place on Friday, 25th July at 9.30 p.m. in the Renaissance Skočibuha Summer Residence on Boninovo.
The Borna Šercar and Jazziana Croatica concert, which took place last night, 21st July, was held in the Marin Držić Theatre instead of the Excelsa Real Estate Amphitheatre on Mount Srđ, as originally announced, due to unfavourable weather conditions.

As part of the “Dubrovnik Summer Festival from the Croatian Television Achieves” and in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Cinemas, the premiere of the documentary and feature film collage “Jupa at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival“ was held last night, 20th July, before a numerous audience in the Slavica Open-air Cinema.
W. Shakespeare’s “Timon of Athens “ directed by Georgij Par, was performed last night, 20th July, as part of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, taking place before a numerous audience gathered in the Center for Advanced Academic Studies Atrium and, later, in the University of Dubrovnik Campus Park. Another performance of the play is on tonight, 21st July with a start at 9.30 p.m.
As part of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s music programme, virtuosic Italian pianist Andrea Padova performed a Baroque-dedicated piano recital entitled “Around Bach and Scarlatti”, which took place last night, 19th July in the Rector’s Palace Atrium.
