Bojan Gorišek (1962) is the leading Slovenian pianist in the field of contemporary music, perhaps best known for recording the complete piano opus  (10 CDs) of Erik Satie for the Audiophile Classics label of Blaricum Music Group of the Netherlands. Those recordings, rated among the best ever made, represent the most complete review of Satie’s piano compositions to date. Bojan Gorišek was for many years the exclusive recording artist of Blaricum Music Group.

Well-known for his interpretations of minimalist music, Gorišek has recorded 32 CDs to date of which also four CDs by George Crumb and the piano sonata Concord by Charles Ives for Blaricum Music Group. He has also recorded the complete piano opuses of a number of the Slovenian composers.

He graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and continued his studies in Cologne with Herbert Henck, one of the most important European specialists in contemporary piano music.
