Award winning domestic movies from Pula at the Festival
Winners of the national program competition of the movie festival in Pula will be shown as part of the program of the 62nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival in cooperation with the Cinematography society of Dubrovnik on the 27th, 28th and the 30th of July, at 9:30 pm in the Visia cinema.
The Croatian thriller drama “Fleke” directed by Aldo Tardozzi was shown on Wednesday, the 27th of July. As the second highest rated movie from the Pula audience, it comes highly recommended. “Fleke” is a story about a 17-year old girl who, after an embarrassing first sexual experience with her boyfriend meets a problematic teen of her age which then leads to a night full of unexpected events. Tickets could be obtained on retail outlets of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival at a price of 20 kuna.
Winner of the Award of Young Cinephiles and the first audience Award is the movie “Koko i duhovi” of director Daniel Kušan. This crime movie for children has been made in the likelihood of the novel with the same name, and will be shown today, on July 28th. Thanks to the production house Kinorama the film projection will be free.
Winner of the Great Golden Arena for best movie is “Kotlovina” by Tomislav Radić; a movie that shows a series of seemingly unimportant family dynamics, but defines the country we live in when viewed as a whole. It is to be shown on Saturday, July 30th and the entrance is free.
