Datum objave: 10.07.2014.

The day after the Opening Ceremony of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, on Friday, July 11th, the  Sudar ('Clash') Percussion ensemble, alongside Matej Meštrović on the piano, performed in the Mrain Držić Theatre.

The programme started with a 30-minute music documentary about the filming of „Eat suite“ – an album by the previously mentioned artists - directed by Arsen Oremović, followed by a live performance of Sudar Percussion and Matej Meštrović, which raised the audience to it's feet. Compositions from their latest album „Eat suite“ titled „Paprikash“, „Barbicue“, „Baklava's dance“, have been described by the Croatian media as creative, playful and witty. The audience enjoyed a unique entertaining evening in Marin Držić Theatre.

Matej Meštrović is considered one of the most versatile Croatian artists – he is an accomplished musician and one of the most influential currently active classical music composers. Meštrović has created a completely new musical direction with the Sudar Percussion, which consists of some of the best percussionists in the region, said to be „a true little miracle of a tasteful, lucid and intriguing combination of classical, jazz, rock, pop and etno music."
