Datum objave: 02.05.2018.

Three master classes for young Croatian and international musicians will be held at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival this summer, by violinist Stefan Milenković, tenor Krešimir Špicer and pianist Maria João Pires respectively. The programmes are carried out in cooperation with the Caboga Stiftung foundation, the donor of the programme, and Luka Sorkočević Art School, where classes will be held, while final concerts will take place at the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa.

Stefan Milenković's master class will take place from 23 to 29 July, and attendants will have the opportunity to attend three of his individual and six group violin lessons. On the final day of the master class, the attendants will perform at the closing concert which will be held in the main hall of the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa as part of the programme of the 69th Dubrovnik Summer Festival. The concert programme will be selected from the master class repertoire, and entry is free. Applications for Stefan Milenković's master class will be accepted through the website of the artist until 1 June, while applications for master classes of Krešimir Špicer and Maria João Pires will be open soon.

The value of the donation agreement between the Caboga Stiftung foundation and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival is 920,000 kuna and, in addition to organising three master classes for young musicians, it enabled the 69th Festival to organise several concerts as part of the Festival programme and in the post-festival period.

‘Our mission is investing in the future, in people and public buildings, and this cooperation with the Dubrovnik Summer Festival is the continuation of our investment in Dubrovnik, primarily in young and talented musicians,’ said the president of the foundation Dr Ivo Felner at the signing of the contract.
