International Vocal Master Class by Krešimir Špricer gathers young musicians

While the international master class of violinist Stefan Milenković ends this evening with the concert of the participants in the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa, the international vocal master workshop of Krešimir Špicer is in progress. It started on July 26th and it will be held until 1st of August  at Luka Sorkočević's Art School. The last day of the workshop, on Wednesday, August 1st starting at 9.30 pm in the Bunić-Kaboga Sumer Villa, the workshop will end with the concert of the participants dedicated to Baroque music and Lied.

A seven-day master class, which includes individual and group lectures with Krešimir Špicer, gathered five young singers aged 18-26. On the last day of the workshop, on August 1st, the participants will perform at the final concert which will be held in the main hall of the Bunić-Kaboga Sumer Villa, starting at 9.30 pm. The concert program will be selected from the workshop repertoire. The entry is free, but due to the limited number of seats, free tickets must first be picked up at the Festivals Palace Box Office. In cooperation with the public transport company Libertas Dubrovnik, a special transport for the public to the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa was organized. The bus will leave from Pile at 9 pm.The return is immediately after the end of the program.

In line with its mission, which emphasizes educational programs for young artists, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival this summer hosts three master workshops for young musicians from the Croatian and international community. They are held by top class musicians, and besides the violinist Stefan Milenković and tenor Kresimir Špicer, workshops will be held by the famous pianist Maria João Pires with the pianist of the Partitura movement Miloš Popović and Giuseppe Ravìi, founder of Respiroe Movimento® method (August 1st to August 7th).
Master Classes on the 69th Festival are realized in co-operation with the Foundation of the Caboga Stiftung, which is a donor of the program and with the Luka Sorkočević Art School, where the classes are held.
