Performance by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra in the Rector's Palace
Mezzo-soprano Dubravka Šerparović Mušović, pianist Dubravka Tomšić and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra under the lead of maestro Ivan Repušić will be performing on the 62nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival on Thursday, 14th of July at 9 30 PM in the atrium of the Rector's Palace.

Born in Dubrovnik, the mezzo-soprano Dubravka Šeparović Mušović is today one of the most sought-after Croatian artists on the European music scene. A pupil of Arthura Rubinstein and famed pianist born in Dubrovnik, Dubravka Tomšić participates yet again under the banner of the Festival in front of her loyal audience. These two great Dubrovnik artists are, with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, under the lead from maestro Ivan Repušić, going to play the “Idyll” from Blagoje Bersa, “Rückert-Lieder“by Gustav Mahler, commemorating the 100th year of his death, the composition „Hommage à Sorkočević“ by Boris Papandopulo, and lastly, Listzs Piano Concerto No.1 honoring the 200th year of his birth. Mahler's songs will be recited by the member of the Festival drama ensemble, Doris Šarić Kukuljica.
