Premiere of the Opera Coming Soon
On August 5 in the Rector's Palace Atrium, the premiere of the operas Der Schulmeister and La Serva Padrona, with Giorgio Surian, Valentina Fijačko, Varaždin Chamber Orchestra and maestro Tomislav Fačini, will take place. The director is Krešimir Dolenčić.
With the performance of these great works by George Philipp Telemann's and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival participates in celebration of Pergolesi's 300th Anniversary.
Festival's audience will this season enjoy in two performances on August 5 and 6. Until then, rehearsals are conducted diligently and on a daily basis in the Rector’s Palace, in that way ensuring the spectacular performance.
