Spectacular beginning of the Festival
Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra with Antoni Wit, the chief conductor of the Warsaw Philharmonic and the Polish pianist Peter Jablonski opened the Festival’s music programme and marked 100th anniversary of Mahler’s death with a spectacular concert on Bošković Square.

The audience recognized the attractiveness and quality of the program and these great artists and the concert was sold out. The spectacular beginning of this season Dubrovnik Summer Festival was organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Zagreb on the occasion of Poland's EU presidency.
