Jane Austen's cult novel Pride and Prejudice, leads us through the lavish 19th century British salons telling story of a sensible, intelligent and free-spirited Elizabeth Bennet, a young woman who, along with her four sisters, must marry a rich husband. Many scholars consider it an irresistible and flawlessly written piece of literature. Although at first glance Pride and Prejudice may seem as a simple romance novel, it is much more than that - proven by the fact that this novel has been and still remains an inspiration to generations of readers. All those who picked up this masterfully written book revelled in the eternal love story of the personable and warm Elizabeth Bennet and the stiffly proud Mr. Darcy, a story of true love, family, fraudsters and heroes, and finally, of pride and prejudice.
