The play won the Orlando Best Play Award at the 68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival

Hrvoje Ivanković won the Croatian Theatre Award for Best Dramaturgical Concept and Text Adaptation of the play Marin Držić – Victory over the Enemies, premiered at the 68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and Ivica Boban won the Croatian Theatre Award for Dramaturgical Adaptation of the Text

SUBTITLED IN ENGLISH 

The play Marin Držić – Victory Over the Enemies revolves around the life, work and destiny of the great Renaissance playwright Marin Držić. With equal portions of facts, assumptions and fantasy, the play ludically explores Marin Držić’s relation with his contemporaries, and with ethical and social paradigms of his time.
