The Opening Ceremony marks the beginning of the 67th Festival

Dubrovnik Summer Festival traditionally opened on 10 July, in front of the St. Blaise’s Church before a large audience. With Hymn to Freedom, Festival’s Libertas flag has been raised for the 67th time.

Everything is set for tonight's Opening ceremony

The Dress rehearsal for the Opening ceremony of the 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival took place last night, 9 July at midnight. Traditionally, the people of Dubrovnik and their guests didn't miss it.

Gala Concert with José Cura in front of St. Blaise’s Church

The 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s music programme will open by the world famous tenor, José Cura, whom music critics often call “the fourth tenor”, alluding to The Three Tenors. At the Opening Ceremony directed by Ivan Miladinov, he will appear as both conductor and singer, while the following day – on 11 July – he will perform some of the finest operatic arias with the soprano Linda Ballova and the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra conducted by maestro Mladen Tarbuk in the gala concert taking place in front of St Blaise's Church.

The 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival About to Open

The 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, taking place from 10 July to 25 August, will open on 10 July at 9.00 pm, in front of St Blaise’s Church, with the raising of the Libertas flag on Orlando's Column to the verses of Hymn to Liberty.

BADco. performs The Stranger at the 67th Festival

Premiered in June 2015 at the Perforations Festival, The Stranger project produced by BADco. will be performed at the 67th Festival, on 15 August at Revelin Fort Terrace. That will be the first time that this Croatian performance group, which is considered to be an internationally significant artistic phenomenon, appears at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

Aljoša Jurinić Wins Fifth Prize at Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition

This summer, on 16 August, Aljoša Jurinić will have his debut at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival where he will perform Debussy's 'Rêverie', Schumann's 'Sonata No. 1 in F sharp minor, Op. 11' and Chopin's 'Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58' and 'Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52'.
