Linđo has been an inevitable part of the Festival’s programme for decades. This multiple-time- awarded ensemble, which has been named one of the best European folklore ensembles, will again this year be presenting a lavish palette of national dances and songs from all over Croatia. Performing in original costumes of great value, Linđo will proudly present the Festival’s audience with the cultural heritage of our regions. Dances of Prigorje and the unavoidable littoral Linđo, dances of Bunjevci, Međimurje and Baranja, along with the wheel-dance of Vrljika will all be performed as part of the programme.
Performances of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble will again take place on the Revelin Fort Terrace on 18th and 23rd August. Tickets are available online at www.dubrovnik-festival.hr, in the Festival’s box offices located in the Festival’s Palace, Visia Multimedia Center and Luža Culture and Information Center, as well as at the entrance one hour before the performance. Citizens and residents of the Dubrovnik-Neretva county may purchase tickets at a 30 percent discount rate.
