On his personal request, Mr Krešimir Dolenčić, Artistic Director of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, was acquitted of duty by Minister of Culture, Prof. Dr. Sc. Andrea Zlatar Violić, on 21 October 2014.

That same day, Mr Mladen Tarbuk, who had by then held the post of Music Programme Director, was appointed Acting Artistic Director, while Mrs Mani Gotovac was appointed Acting Theatre Programme Director.
