The magnificent musical highlight of the 74th Festival
The traditional concert led by the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of maestro Tomislav Fačini, and joined by the Croatian Radio and Television Choir and the best Croatian opera artists of the younger generation, soprano Darija Auguštan, countertenor Franko Klisović, tenor Roko Radovan and baritone Leon Košavić, closed the 74th Dubrovnik Summer Festival last night, 25 August in front of the Cathedral. With the sounds Igor Kuljerić’s Canzoniere and the verses of Dubrovnik's Renaissance and Baroque poets, Dubrovnik actors and musicians put away the Libertas flag until next summer.

The youngest festival audience enjoyed the cheerful musical-theatre treat I Want to Sing a Song: Pocoloca Orchestra, performed by Poco Loco Theatre yesterday, 22 August at the Slavica open-air cinema.
Esteemed Croatian musicians Kajana Pačko and Danijel Detoni perform tomorrow at the Rector's Palace
Cellist Kajana Pačko and pianist Daniel Detoni will be holding the last Rector’s Palace concert of the Festival season tomorrow, 23 August at 9.30 p.m., with a programme consisting of compositions by Dubravko Detoni, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, and Dora Pejačević. The musicians have decided to dedicate the concert to the recently departed musician, cellist, pedagogue, and former Dubrovnik Summer Festival music director Valter Dešpalj.

Velo Misto is guesting at the 74th Festival
The play, which bears the title of the iconic Miljenko Smoje workVelo Misto, directed by Marina Pejnović and performed by the Zagreb City Theatre Komedija, is guesting at the Festival from 22 to 24 August. All performances on the Revelin Fort terrace start at 9 p.m., and tickets are sold out. The sponsor of these performances at the 74th Dubrovnik Festival is the Dubrovnik Airport.
Poco Loco Theatre tomorrow in Slavica open-air cinema
To the delight of the youngest festival audience, tomorrow, 22 August at the Slavica open-air cinema at 7:30 p.m., the cheerful Poco Loco Theatre will perform a unique musical theatre show for the whole family, I Want to Sing a Song: Pocoloca Orchestra.
