The Linđo Folklore Ensemble will hold their now traditional performance at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, this time in front of the Cathedral, on 23 July at 9.30pm and then again on 22 August, at 9pm.

The multiple award-winning Cameroon-born American jazz musician Richard Bona, Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodríguez, drummer Ludwig Afonso and the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra, with conductor Miron Hauser held an unforgettable concert for the festival crowd at the 72nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
On Saturday, 24 July at 9pm at the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa the participants of Petrit Çeku’s guitar masterclass will hold a concert. Entrance is free but due to the limited number of seats, the free tickets need to be picked up at the Festival Palace ahead of time.
The acclaimed premiere title of the anniversary 70th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, a Paolo Magelli take on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, performed by the Festival Drama Ensemble returns again to the Lovrjenac Fort and will be played there on 21, 22, 23 and 24 July at 9.30pm as part of the 72nd Festival and its drama programme. All dates have been sold out.
The second play produced as part of the Port of Dreamers EU project, the Slovenian play Celebration, which is an SNT Maribor prodution based on an Ivor Martinić text and directed by Jan Krmelj, was performed last night, 18 July, and is on again for the final time this Festival season tonight, 19 July, at 9.30pm also at Lazareti. The play is in Slovenian, with Croatian subtitles.

Cameroon-born American jazz virtuoso Richard Bona, Cuban pianist and composer Alfred Rodríguez and drummer Ludwig Afonso will be joined by the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra, under the baton of Miron Hauser, in front of the Cathedral where they will hold an undoubtedly unforgettable jazz event of the Festival, on Tuesday 20 July at 9.30pm. The retrospective exhibition titled “Without Compromise” – Ika Škomrlj Ajki by authors Ivana Bakal and Martina Petranović opens on Saturday 17 July at 9pm, at Lazareti; in cooperation of ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts) and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
The brilliant young virtuoso Lovre Marušić held a piano recital last night, 16 July, in the Rector’s Palace atrium, as part of the 72nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s music programme. For his Festival debut he chose to play Schumann, Haydn, Ravel and Liszt.
The presentation of the Port of Dreamers project final publication was held today, 16 July, in the Festival Palace in Dubrovnik. The presentation itself was live-streamed online and a video of the event is available on the official YouTube channel of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, as well as the project’s own Facebook page and all partner organizations’ Facebook pages.
