The tickets for the performance of the Grammy Award winner Gregory Porter and for other events at the 66th Dubrovnik Summer Festival have been put up for sale on Friday, 20 February, which is the earliest sale beginning ever.
In addition to the tickets for three shows of last year's premiere of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet directed by Jagoš Marković at the Skočibuha Summer Residence, the tickets have been on sale for the neo-Baroque ballet Dangerous Liaisons directed and choreographed by Valentina Turcu and Leo Mujić, and performed by the ballet ensemble of the Slovenian National Theatre of Maribor, which premiered at Bošković Square last year with great success. The audience already has the opportunity to purchase the tickets for the recital of Lana Kos, who will perform a programme of Russian romances and operatic arias at the Rector's Palace Atrium early in August. Other available tickets include that for the concert of the Arensky Piano Trio from Sankt Petersburg, the recital of young Russian pianist Alexander Kutuzov, and the concert of pianist Itamar Golan and violinist Guy Braunstein.
Jazz fans would definitely not like to miss the performance of Gregory Porter, last year's Grammy winner in the Best Jazz Vocal Album Category, on the Revelin Fort Terrace on 15 August. The tickets for this concert are on sale too.
