Following last night’s premiere performance of “Several imaginary scenes inspired by the novel Ocean Sea by Alessandro Baricco” on Šulić Beach, at which Baricco himself was present, a literary evening with this author will take place tonight, 31st July with a start at 9.30 p.m. in the Sponza Palace Atrium.
Tonight's Performance of Linđo Ensemble on Revelin Cancelled
Due to weather conditions, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival is cancelling the performance of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble, which was scheduled to take place tonight, 30th July with a start at 9.30 p.m. on the Revelin Fort Terrace.

The Festival Presents: Pula Film Festival Winners
As part of the longtime collaboration of the Pula Film Festival and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and following the recent projection of “The Invisible Woman” from the International program section of the Pula Film Festival, projections of two domestic film winners will take place in the following order : “Number 55”, winner of the Golden Arena on Tuesday, 29th July and “The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker”, winner of the Golden Gate of Pula Audience Award on Wednesday, 30th July, both starting at 9.30 p.m. in the Jadran Open-air Cinema.
Programme “Writers at the Festival” to Be Opened by Baricco’s “Ocean Sea”
The Dubrovnik Summer Festival, in collaboration with the Croatian Writers Association and the project's author Mani Gotovac, will open the programme "Writers at the Festival" entitled "Sand as far as the eye can see" tonight, 29th July, with the premiere performance of "Several imaginary scenes inspired by the novel Ocean Sea by Alessandro Baricco" at 11.00 p.m. at Šulić Beach, as announced at the press conference held yesterday, 28th July, in the Festival's Palace.
Lado's Imposing Dance Repertoire Traditionally Presented at the Festival
A performance by the National Folk Dance and Song Ensemble Lado, a favourite of the Festival's audience, was traditionally held as part of the Festival’s programme last night, 27th July, before a numerous national and international audience on the Fort Revelin Tarace.
