Šimun Končić was born in 1991 in Dubrovnik, where he finished elementary and high music school in the classes of prof. Ivančica Kalanj and prof. Evelina Šegović. He continued his education at the Music Academy in Zagreb where he graduated in the class of prof. Milan Čunka.

He has won numerous awards at national competitions in solo and chamber categories. He attended courses with distinguished professors: Bruno Giuranna, H.P. Ochsenhofer, Pavle Zajcev ...

Since 2017 he has been a viola principal in the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.
