Camerata RCO, a mixed strings and winds ensemble of Amsterdam's renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO) members, will hold a concert at the 74th Dubrovnik Summer Festival on Friday, 18 August in the Rector’s Palace atrium at 9:30 p.m., and perform compositions by Nino Rota and Johannes Brahms.

This year's fourth and last drama premiere, Marijana Fumić’s The Melancholy Women of Ragusa, directed by Dora Ruždjak Podolski and performed by the Festival Drama Ensemble, is on the programme from Thursday, 17 August to Monday, 21 August, and will be staged in Gradac Park. On this occasion, a befitting presentation was held at the location of the play, where the director Dora Ruždjak Podolski, the author and dramaturge Marijana Fumić were joined by Director of the OTP Bank Business Center Dubrovnik and Southern Dalmatia Josipa Vodenac who spoke on behalf of the donors of the play, while the female part of the cast briefly presented their roles.

One of the most significant early music interpreters in Poland, the {oh!} Orkiestra led by violinist Martyna Pastuszka will be performing on Wednesday, 16 August at 9.30 p.m. in the Rector’s Palace atrium. They will introduce themselves to the Dubrovnik audience with a programme containing works inspired by the cultures Henry Purcell, François Couperin, Michel Corrette, Andreas Anton Schmelzer, and Jean-Philippe Rameau encountered and admired.
