Indian classical dances are going to be performed by an Indian dancer and choreographer Sneha Bharadwaj on the Revelin Fort Terrace, on Thursday 11 August at 09:30 PM.
Sneha Bharadwaj started dancing when she was only five and today she’s a highly educated dancer with a MA degree of Bangalore University. Back in 2005 she was awarded with a prestige Indian prize Aryabhatta. In India she performed at various dancing festivals, as well as in the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland and many other European countries. She is also a founder and artistic director of Abhinaya Indischer Tanz – School of Indian dance in München. As a member of International Dance Council CID (Conseil International de La Danse) at UNESCO, Sneha is being recognized as one of the leading professionals on the international level. Presently she works on theatre production named FeuerFrau that will be premiered soon.
Thanks to the patronage of Indian Embassy in Zagreb, audience of the 67th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will have a unique opportunity to take a closer look at the classical Indian dances. Tickets are available at the price of 100 HRK at box offices in Festival Palace at the address Od Sigurate 1, in Luža Bell Tower and at the venue, one hour prior the performance.
