Jimmy Ćorak at the 35th Marulić Days and Actor's Festival

Our last year's theater premiere Jimmy Ćorak, co-produced by the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, House of Klajn, Punctum Art Organization and Kunst Teatar, was selected for this year's 35th Marulić Days, and a total of 64 plays from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Italy, Germany and Portugal were submitted, of which 53 were from Croatia. These are mostly contemporary playwrights or authorial projects in which the text is created as a result of the collective work or research process of the authors who always deal with contemporary topics, that is, what we live every day.
Last year's premiere was also invited to the 32nd Actor's Festival, which will be held from 9 to 17 May in Vukovar-Srijem County.
The Actor's Festival was launched by the Croatian Society of Dramatic Artists in 1994 and has been held every year since then. The festival of acting achievements realized in the previous year is specific in that it is entirely dedicated to the actor and his creativity, and this year the selector is the dramatist Goran Grgić, who selected Jimmy Ćorak from among 18 plays.
