One of the summer theatre premieres we are looking forward to is The Seagull by Anton P. Chekhov, scheduled for August 20-24, directed by Janusz Kica. Alongside the exceptional Nina Violić in the role of Irina Nikolaevna Arkadina, will be some of the leading names in Croatian acting, such as Filip Šovagović, Bernard Tomić, Ružica Maurus, Tena Nemet Brankov, Janko Popović Volarić and others, who will bring a great story about life and theater, which at its core is about women, in the fairy-tale setting of the island of Lokrum.
