Cristina Aguilera made her debut flamenco dancing debut at the age of eight. She trained with Maite Galán, finishing her degree in Spanish Dance and Flamenco in 2010 at the Carmen Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory in Madrid.
In 2015 she presented her first show “Encrucijada” in Granada. Since then Cristina Aguilera has participated in festivals of prestige in collaboration with main flamenco dance companies. In 2016 was invited to he premier her second show “Corazón Abierto”, in the 20th edition of the Seville Biennial. In 2017 she presented her show “Granada” with Alba Heredia. In 2018 she premiered “De Agua, Plata y Tierra” (Of Water, Silver and Earth) under the direction of Jesús Carmona. In 2019 she danced in the show “Lorca and passion. A sea of dreams” at the Generalife Gardens Theatre of La Alhambra in Granada. In 2020 she was invited to dance n the Sona Flamenc Festival in Tarragona and presented “De Agua, Plata y Tierra” at the XXIV Edition of the Jerez Festival, where she obtained critical praise.
Cristina Aguilera has made numerous national and international tours (Mexico, USA, United Kingdom, etc.), giving courses and teaching in the countries that she visited.
