David Caro was born in Almería in 1992. He began studying the guitar with his father, José Antonio Caro, at the age of 11. He graduated with honors in Flamenco Guitar from the "Rafael Orozco" Superior Conservatory of Córdoba. He currently works at the emblematic Tablao Los Gallos in Seville. Currently he is the Juan Pinilla guitarist (Lámpara Minera 2007) ,with whom he recorded 4 albums, including "Jugar con Fuego" which was nominated for the 2014 Latin Grammys. He has accompanied, among other artists, Pele, highlighting the work "Peleando", Farruquito , highlighting the show "Two Figures: Farruquito and El Pele", Choro Molina in his show "Bayles de jitanos", among others. He accompanies the acclaimed flamenco dancer "El Carpeta" in his shows "Flamenco Show" and "A Bailar". He also plays in alternative projects such as the band "SER DE LUZ" by flutist and saxophonist Sergio de Lope, the trio "Bajo de Guía" with flutist, saxophonist and harmonica player Diego Villegas, or the project "Jugando" by Matías López "El Mati" (Mining Lamp 2019).
He has composed the music for works and dance shows such as "Habla la tierra" by the Murcian dancer Maise Márquez, "Continuo" by Macarena López, "Alachar" by Julio Ruiz and Inka Díaz, "Los Males de España" by Cristina Soler and "Azul" by Julio Ruiz.
David Caro has taught guitar courses at various Flamenco Festivals, including the prestigious Ibérica Contemporánea (Querétaro-Mexico), Mont De Marsán Flamenco Art Festival, the FLamenco Biennar of Seville and the Jerez Flamenco Festival.
