Marcos de Silvia began playing the guitar at the age of 8 with the guidance of Professor Eusebio López. His musical training has expanded through masterclasses with prominent teachers such as Gerardo Núñez, José Luis Balao, Diego del Morao, Paco Cepero, Antonio Rey, Rafael Riqueni, Moisés Sánchez, and Iván Cebrián.Marcos participated in the XXVI Festival de Jerez, where he performed as asoloist and was awarded the Revelation Award. He was later invited toperform at the XXX Tribute to Camarón de la Isla in Venta de Vargas, SanFernando, and to inaugurate the 55th Bulería Festival of Jerez, where hewon the 1st Prize for Flamenco Guitar Accompaniment to Singing andDancing in 2022. He also won the Action Scholarship at the Cristina Heeren Foundation inTriana, Seville, and took 2nd place in Flamenco Guitar at the 63rd Editionof the Festival Internacional Cante de las Minas, one of the most prestigiousflamenco festivals in the world. He has performed at many prestigious festivals, including the XXIII Bienalde Flamenco Sevilla 2024 as a flamenco guitarist with dancer ManuelaCarrasco, the VII Benalmádena Flamenco Guitar Fest 2024, and the IISuma Flamenca Joven in Madrid at the Teatro del Canal, among others.
