Šulić Brajčić, Eva

Eva Šulić Brajčić began her musical education at the age of four at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet in Maribor under the mentorship of Prof. Zorica Todorović. She continued her studies at the J. J. Fux Conservatory in Graz with Prof. Helfried Fister. From 2011 to 2015, she attended the preparatory program for highly gifted young musicians at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Leonid Sorokow, after which she continued her studies in his class at the Music Academy in Zagreb, obtaining her Master’s degree in 2021. She pursued further specialization at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Anton Sorokow and completed a postgraduate program with a Concert Diploma (summa cum laude) at the Schola Cantorum in Paris under Prof. Violeta Smailović Huart.


As a soloist, she has collaborated with numerous distinguished orchestras, including the Zagreb Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of Croatian Radiotelevision, Varaždin Chamber Orchestra, Croatian Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of RTV Slovenia, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of the Verdi Theatre in Trieste, and the Symphony Orchestra of the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor.

She appears regularly at major national and international festivals such as the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Osor Musical Evenings, Samobor Music Festival, Musical Evenings in St. Donatus, Korkyra Baroque Festival, and the Music Biennale Zagreb. From 2021 to 2023, she served as Associate Concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Croatian Radiotelevision, and since 2024 she has been playing as Concertmaster of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.


Eva Šulić Brajčić is a recipient of numerous national and international awards, including multiple first prizes at the Slovenian TEMSIG competitions, the Golden Plaque at the Giuseppe Tartini International Competition in Piran, first prize at the Stefanie Hohl Competition in Vienna, first prize at the Papandopulo Competition, the Stjepan Šulek Award (2021) for her interpretation of Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, and the Ivo Dražinić Award (2022).

From 2017 to 2023, she was a member of Trio Eusebius with cellist Tonka Javorović and pianist David Vuković, under the mentorship of Prof. Pavle Zajcev. The trio received numerous distinctions, including the main award for Best Artistic Personality at the International Competition of Young Musicians Ferdo Livadić, first prize and the Croatian Composers’ Society Award at the Papandopulo Competition, and the main award of the Darko Lukić Platform. Trio Eusebius performed at prominent festivals in Croatia and abroad and recorded works by Croatian composers for the archive of Croatian Radiotelevision.
