Tenor Filip Filipović (1997) graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Music in the class of Professor Giorgio Surian. He continued his studies at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium under the guidance of José Van Dam, Sophie Koch and Stéphane Degout.

He has won numerous awards, including the Ferdo Livadić Award for the best artistic personality at the 18th Ferdo Livadić International Competition for Young Musicians, 1st prize at the 10th Croatian Competition for Young Musicians Papandopulo and 2nd prize at the 41st Hans Gabor Belvedere International Singing Competition held in Dortmund in 2023. He is also the winner of the Zagreb Philharmonic Young Musician Award in 2023.

He regularly performs at domestic and international festivals such as the Ranko Filjak Piano Memorial in Petrinja, the St. Mark's Festival, the Osor Musical Evenings and the Samobor Musical Autumn. He performed at the Trogir Opera Selecta music festival, the closing ceremony of the 73rd Dubrovnik Summer Festival and the Music Chapel Festival in Belgium accompanied by the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Maestro Bart Van Reyn.

He regularly collaborates with the Croatian Radio and Television Choir and Symphony Orchestra and the Zagreb Philharmonic. He performs works such as Petite messe solennelle and Stabat Mater by Gioachino Rossini, Mozart and Verdi's Requiem and Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony. He has sung under the baton of renowned conductors such as Ivan Repušić, Dawid Runtz, Ivo Lipanović, Srba Dinić, Valentin Egel, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Jan Latham-Koenig, Motonori Kobayashi, Placido Domingo and Antonello Allemandi.

He made his debut at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb with the role of Mehmed Sokolović in Ivan pl. Zajc's opera Nikola Šubić Zrinjski. He was a member of the Giorgio Surian Opera Studio of the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka. He made his debut at the Croatian National Theatre in Split in the role of Alfredo Germont. He is currently a member of the opera ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, where he has performed numerous roles. Some of his most significant roles include Ismaele (Nabucco), Tamino (The Magic Flute), Alfredo (The Bat), Alfredo Germont (La Traviata), the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto) and Ferrando (Così fan tutte). He recently added the role of Ruggero from Puccini's La rondine to his opera repertoire.
