Exactly 80 years ago this year, from a speaker high on the statue of Orlando in the Sponza palace, the then-State Radio Dubrovnik started broadcasting. After Radio Zagreb, that was the second ever radio station in Croatia. In its eight decades, Radio Dubrovnik has lived on continuously alongside its listeners; as a witness to all the changes happening in the region.
