The Quinta Essentia ensemble, founded in 2020, already reveals its intention to gather young and representative musicians specialized in the so-called historically conscious performance, with its name, which signifies a focus on the deepest ethereal core of music. It is a new generation of artists who, with their competence resulting from many years of education and experience gained on European stages, would like to further expand and promote the strong European tradition of "early music" that already exists in Croatia, but irresistibly cries out for new and even higher achievements. For the aforementioned musicians, the beauty of "music" is not something merely aesthetic, but rather the ether (quinta essentia) in which all life, including that of art, rests. It is a furrow (lyre) that the Muses plow in the soul of musicians and the audience, producing furrowed frenzy (de-lirium), a love delirium as a manifestation of being absorbed in the love ethereal primordial movement of everything. Hence the title "Il delirio amoroso" of the announced concert by the Quinta Essentia ensemble at the "Dubrovnik Summer Festival" in 2025.
