First-rate tenor and bel canto star Lawrence Brownlee together with the brilliant pianist Vesna Podrug Kossjanenko wowed the Festival audience last night, 6 August, in the packed atrium of the Rector's Palace with his amazing voice on a concert which was high in demand from both locals and foreigners. On the repertoire were pieces by Giuseppe Verdi, Franz Liszt, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti and the Neapolitan songs.
