Due to an injured main actor, the performance of Chamber Theatre Voronezh's Uncle Vanja, that was announced for 5 August 2018, at the 69th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, is cancelled. Anton Lachky's dance show Cartoon, created for children six years of age and older and their families, will be performed on the Revelin Fort Terrace on 14 July at 21:30 as part of the programme of the 69th Dubrovnik Summer Festival. Cartoon won the award of the Belgian Minister of Culture Alda Greoli in 2017.
The Renaissance Garden project, created and performed by the organisation The Rest is Music, will take place in the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa this year. It is realised by the Dubrovnik Summer Festival with the support of the Caboga Stiftung Foundation. Based on the modern interpretation of the cultural heritage, it will be performed as a multimedia concert hosted in Croatian and English language on 29 June and 2 July, starting at 21:00.
