The Norwegian Baroque Ensemble, based in Oslo, was formed through the merger of Barokkanerne and the Norwegian Baroque Orchestra. Both ensembles made their debuts in the late 1980s and have since become leading early music ensembles in Norway. They have performed at numerous festivals across Europe and are appearing at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival this year.
