The dramatic program of the 76th Dubrovnik Summer Festival is exceptionally rich and varied, and will bring the festival audience, in addition to exciting guest appearances and favorite reruns, the continuation of the reflection and development of dynamic co-production and ambient concepts, as well as major premieres. This summer, the first drama premiere will be a co-production of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin and the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor – Medea brings a contemporary and provocative reinterpretation of an ancient myth, exploring themes of exile, revenge and social condemnation through powerful visual and emotional expression, directed by Martin Kušej.
