Two performances of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble in Gradac Park

The traditional performances of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble at 71st Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be held on Wednesday, July 22, and next Friday, July 31, starting at 9.30 pm in Gradac Park.

For this year's two festival performances, Linđo prepared a diverse and interesting program, adapted to epidemiological recommendations, the programme includes potkolo, Konavle wedding dance that is danced in a semicircle, just like the poskočica dance, which is accompanied of traditional instruments lijerica or mijeh. They will also perform a dance originated on the island of Susak, a characteristic dance the small island in the northern Adriatic, the island Susak is also known for its short and colorful women's folklore costumes. They will perform a graceful old dances city of Split as well as Bunjevačko kolo dance. The program will have music acts performed by the orchestra, klapa singers, and ensemble choir.

The Linđo Folklore Ensemble has been a notable part of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival program since 1967, and its traditional festival performances, which testify to and celebrate the richness of Croatia's intangible heritage, are always visited by both foreign and local audience. 

Tickets for this performance are available for purchase at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival website www.dubrovnik-festival.hr or via www.ulaznice.hr ticketing service and at the box office of the Festival Palace (OdSigurate1) every day from 9 am to 9.30 pm. Purchases made with Mastercard® and Maestro® cards receive a 10% discount while all purchases and orders over 500 kunas receive a 30% discount voucher for Festival souvenirs.
