Opening of “Memory Shapers“ Art Exhibition
Regarding its 65th anniversary, in partnership with the Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Festival will open a retrospective exhibition under the name of „Memory Shapers – photographers and designers of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival“, which will take place on Friday, 11th July at 9 p.m. in the Palace Sponza Atrium.
Sudar Percussion in Marin Držić Theatre
On the day after the Opening Ceremony of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, on Friday, July 11th, the Sudar ('Clash') Percussion ensemble, alongside Matej Meštrović on the piano, performed in the Mrain Držić Theatre.
Opening Ceremony Dress Rehersal takes place tonight at midnight
The Dubrovnik Summer Festival's Opening Ceremony Dress Rehersal, which traditionally takes place the day before the Festival's Opening Ceremony, took place on July 9th at midnight, in front of St Blaise's Church.
65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival Opens Tomorrow
As the Libertas flag rises to the verses of the „Hymn of Freedom“, this year's 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, traditionally held from July 10th until August 25th, will officially open in a gala ceremony on July 10th at 9 p.m. in front of St Blaise's Church. During these 47 days of the Festival, more than 2000 artists from across the globe are to perform 80 theatre, music, ballet, folklore and other programmes on nearly 20 ambiental locations in front of an international audience. This was noted on today's media press conference held in the atrium of Sponza Palace, where the Festival's Director Ivana Medo Bogdanović, the Major of Dubrovnik Andro Vlahušić, the Deputy Prefect of the Dubrovnik-Neretva county Davorko Obuljen, the Festival's Art Director Krešimir Dolenčić and head of Vipnet Corporative Communications Dubravka Jusić were all in presence.
Visit Festival Box Offices & Souvenir Shops at the Festival Palace and Visia Multimedia Centre
Tickets for more than 70 music, theatre, ballet, folklore and other performances at the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, besides online, are now available at the box offices in the Festival Palace in the Old City of Dubrovnik at the address Od Sigurate 1 and at the Visia Multimedia Centre, opened daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Starting from the 1 July additional box office on Stradun will be opened and working hours will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The speakers at the press conference included, Mrs. Ivana Medo Bogdanović, Executive Director, Mr. Krešimir Dolenčić, Artistic Director, and Ms. Dubravka Jusić, Vipnet Corporative Communication Manager, who signed a new contract on the general sponsorship extension with the Artistic Director.
