Mara and Kata again at St Mary’s from tomorrow
The hit play Mara and Kata, a creative project by Saša Božić created in collaboration with actresses Nataša Dangubić and Doris Šarić-Kukuljica, is a part of the Festival programme once again this summer. The most wanted gossipmongers in town will comment on the recent events in Dubrovnik in the courtyard of St Mary’s convent tomorrow, 5 August and then 6 August at 9:30 p.m. and on Monday, 7 August at 8:30 p.m. and at 10:30 p.m. Tickets for all performances are sold out.

The exhibition of works by the Dubrovnik artist Romana Milutin Fabris, entitled Dubrovnik Rhapsody was opened last night, 1 August in the crowd-filled Sponza Palace atrium as part of the 74th Dubrovnik Summer Festival. The Montenegrin diplomat and professor Antun Sbutega, art critic and exhibition text author Andrija Seifried and the Festival’s Artistic Director Dora Ruždjak Podolski spoke at the opening.

Zvjezdan Ružić delights the crowd under Revelin with the Pianotron
Last night, 30 July, the Festival audience enjoyed an unforgettable concert by the Croatian pianist, composer and arranger Zvjezdan Ružić on the Square under Revelin fort, who presented some original music, as well as his own covers of world hits on the pianotron, an instrument consisting of a piano, mellotron and pedals. Queen's Radio Ga Ga was met with applause from the first iconic beats, and during the performance of ABBA's Dancing Queen, the audience sang along to the well-known lyrics. The Dubrovnik Summer Festival organized this special concert as a gift to the citizens and visitors of the city.
