The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra with young soloists Veronika Ćiković and Lucija Stilinović under the baton of Dawid Runtz will be performing tonight, 18 August at 9.30 p.m. in the Rector’s Palace Atrium, the works by Wojciech Kilar and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert is sponsored by Kraš.
The closing concert of the 73rd Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be held on Thursday, 25 August at 10 p.m. in front of the Cathedral, but due to the originally announced soprano Nadine Sierra falling ill, the winner of the Operalia competition Adela Zaharia, a soprano who captivates the audience with her voice, will be performing instead.
The ship to Lokrum will depart from the Old Town Port at 8.45 p.m., and the return is immediately after the performance.
A recognizable reflection of the art scene of Dubrovnik, the Lero Student Theatre will be putting on their play Ladies’ Park directed by Davor Mojaš for the festival audience tonight and tomorrow, 15 and 16 August at 9.30 p.m. at the Lazareti.

The exceptional guitarist Miloš Karadaglić won over the festival audience last night, 13 August in the Rector’s Palace Atrium, with a programme in honour of one of the most important guitarists of the last century, Andrés Torres Segovia.
Due to unforseen bad weather, the premiere performance of the play The Enchanted Forest last night, August 12 on the Lovrjenac Fort was interrupted and had to be called off. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow, August 14 at 9:45 p.m at the same place.
