Evening of French Sacred Music from the Time of the Sun King

Vocal-instrumental ensemble Le Concert Spirituel conducted by the famous Hervé Niquet will perform as part of the 65th Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s Vip programme, presenting to the Festival’s audience the golden age of French sacred music from the time of Louis XIV, the Sun King, on Saturday, 2nd August at 9.30 p.m. in the Rector’s Palace Atrium.

An Audience Favourite – “Equinox” at the Festival Again This Year

The legendary Ivo Vojnović’s Equinox, renewed last year under the direction of Joško Juvančić, is once again part of the 65th Festival’s drama programme, and is set to take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of August on the island of Lokrum with a start at 9.30 p.m.

Literary Evening with Alessandro Baricco Tonight at the Festival

Following last night’s premiere performance of “Several imaginary scenes inspired by the novel Ocean Sea by Alessandro Baricco” on Šulić Beach, at which Baricco himself was present, a literary evening with this author will take place tonight, 31st July with a start at 9.30 p.m. in the Sponza Palace Atrium.

The Festival Presents: Pula Film Festival Winners

As part of the longtime collaboration of the Pula Film Festival and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and following the recent projection of “The Invisible Woman” from the International program section of the Pula Film Festival, projections of two domestic film winners will take place in the following order : “Number 55”, winner of the Golden Arena on Tuesday, 29th July and “The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker”, winner of the Golden Gate of Pula Audience Award on Wednesday, 30th July, both starting at 9.30 p.m. in the Jadran Open-air Cinema.
